Through pharmacy compounding, Hale Center Clinical Pharmacy can meet the unique medication-related challenges veterinarians and animal care specialists face making it easier for you, the animal owner, to provide the best care for your animals. We are able to:
- Customize dosages and strengths of medications
- Add flavoring to medications to make them more palatable
- Create alternate dosage forms such as treats, food additives, long-lasting otic gels or transdermal formulations
- Compound discontinued or hard to find medications
Our pharmacists work closely with the veterinarian and the animal owner to meet the specific needs of the animal. We care for all types of animals from reptiles and birds, to cats and dogs, to horses, and so on. In addition to compounded medications there are many commercially available veterinary products that we can dispense as well. Ask us for more details on how we can meet the needs of your animals.
