Staying Well During Cough, Cold, and Flu Season

We’ve officially hit cough and cold season, so that means it’s time to start preparing your immune system to fight these seasonal challenges. Today I want to share with you a few tips on prevention. Be sure to check out my favorite immune boosting products linked below.
 
 

As temperatures drop and fall harvest continues, this can affect our immune resilience. Here are a few wellness strategies I recommend to help strengthen your body’s defenses and keep you feeling your best.

 

1. Practice Everyday Prevention

 

This may sound like a no brainer, but basic prevention goes a long way! Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face when out in public or when around sick loved ones. When someone in your household is sick, disinfect commonly used surfaces to try to minimize germ spread.

Listen to your body! Rest when you need to, and don’t hesitate to seek care if symptoms worsen. Running “on empty” depletes your immune system reserves.

 

2. Support Gut Health

 

Around 70% of the immune system resides in the gut. 4. Prioritize Immune Support

 

A strong immune system starts with healthy daily habits: eat a balanced diet, stay well-hydrated, get adequate sleep (7-9 hours per night), and manage your stress.
