Hemoglobin A1C Test

Hemoglobin A1C is a measure of your blood sugar over the last 3 months.  It can be used to check on how your diabetes management is going or as a screening for pre-diabetes or diabetes.  Our Diabetes Educator will review your results and refer you to your primary care provider if needed.  Rather than a blood draw, this test is a fingerstick test, only requiring a small amount of blood with results in 5 minutes.
