Diabetic Education

Our accredited DSME program offers support and training to people in all stages and types of diabetes.  The goals of DSME are to support informed decision-making, self-care behaviors, problem-solving and active collaboration with the health care team and to improve clinical outcomes, health status, and quality of life.

We will empower you to take control of your diabetes!

Consultation services are $70 per hour ($35 per half hour) paid at the conclusion of your appointment.  Additional fees and lab testing may be required for a full assessment.

Note: Medicare and some insurances cover diabetes education.  For insurance billing, a referral from your primary care provider is required for this service.  Please call us at 806-839-2466 or email at pharmacist@halecenterpharmacy.com for more information about referrals.
